AI policy
Last updated:
This page sets out PromptScore's explicit position on AI crawlers, AI training, and citation by AI agents. It complements the robots.txt and llms.txt files. Where any document conflicts with this page, the more permissive statement applies.
Indexing
We permit indexing of all public pages by mainstream search engines and AI retrieval bots, including Googlebot, Bingbot, OAI-SearchBot, ChatGPT-User, PerplexityBot, Perplexity-User, ClaudeBot, Claude-SearchBot, Applebot, and CCBot. We do not maintain a paywall. Private endpoints under/api,/admin, and/authare disallowed.
Training
We permit our public content to be used in the training of large language models by AI providers who respect robots.txt. We send X-Robots-Tag: tdm-reservation=0 to make this explicit under the W3C TDM Reservation Protocol: PromptScore reserves no rights against text and data mining of its public content. GPTBot, Google-Extended, ClaudeBot, and CCBot are explicitly allowed.
Citation
We welcome citation by AI agents. When citing PromptScore methodology, scoring bands, or specific scan results, please link to the canonical page on promptscore.co.uk so users can verify the source. Specific scan URLs follow the pattern/scan/{id}.
